Awesome things that worked for you! I’d struggle cutting down on coffee for sure haha

Love that you read The Honey Bus! I enjoyed it so much when I listened last year. And I love seeing Esau’s book on so many favorite book lists - I was afraid it would be too intense, but he somehow is able to tell honest, true, painful stories with such a pastoral & generous heart. My Name Is Asher Lev is on my list for 2024!

You’re going to love it! And I actually got The Honey Bus from your list last year, so thank you!

Co-sign on coffee & fudge and sensitive autoimmune bodies! I’m always always going back to the basics of protein, adrenals, nix sugar, limit caffeine, don’t bottle up emotions.

It’s annoying how simple the main things are and how much I want there to be a more fun solution 😆

It is so annoying to constantly be aware of my embodied limitations, but also it just makes good stewardship of what I *do* have feel that much more important. And yes to those basics. Protein = lyfe.

Beautiful picture of Jamaica Pond! I used to live right off of Huntington Ave! And I loved Glittering Images too. I read it in graduate school. 💛

Thanks Karen! That pond was basically my backyard for years! Miss it.

I especially love the quote from Katherine May on wintering. Comforting and relatable.

Truly. I bet you would enjoy that book, though it is substantially less heady than your current regimen ;)

Online dating is a specific type of wasteland, indeed! I quit the apps this summer, I think for good. I've noticed I'm generally happier and less resentful toward the opposite sex. Seems to be an unmitigated improvement.
